Erich Maria Remarque and his books

Having already read ‘Life on Borrowed Summer,’ which describes the post-war years (which are full of no less tragedies and human suffering), I fell in love with his style and how sensually, emotionally, powerfully and masterfully he writes and devotes himself to his stories.

The book ‘Life on Borrowing’ was difficult for me too, but closing the book I felt a strong sense of lust for life, which the whole story is full of.

If you compare this work with ‘Life on loan,’ you can single out the only similarity – pain, precisely that human pain that kills everything that is happy and lives in a person. The series of Remarque books published by KSD, in my opinion, has an incredible design that accurately conveys the details of his works and carries the general mood of the plot. I am preparing to read Remarque’s next book in this series – ‘Three Comrades.’

Do forgive me, but I have such a feeling that my life without the masterpieces of Eric Maria Remarque is not complete.
